So far in 2013 Flipping Divas of Florida Inc., has helped a number of Underqualified or Un-financeable First Time Home Buyers purchase homes who participated in The Flipping-Divas First-Time Home-Buyers Program (FFHP), in our community. They were already projecting to help hundreds in 2014. And now, with the announcement of their new Radio Show debuting on Sunday 09/29/2013 @ 7Pm on Hot 94.7/100.7 FM, and every Sunday thereafter, they are now in a position to inform the community of the many Programs, Tips and Techniques, available to us. “We are so excited about the radio show, it will really help enable us to reach out to the citizens of Brevard County, we have some very creative ideas and programs to help the community and we can’t wait to get the Radio Show started”, says Shawn Shianti Andino, Founder of the Flipping Divas. “It’s a cheap way to give us (the small business owners) the opportunity to reach out to the masses to help revitalize the economy here in Brevard”, said Roque Santiago of Dominikan Tires, who is one of the few small business owners sponsoring the Flipping Divas Radio Show that are excited about having an efficient and inexpensive form of advertising their local businesses. “There’s really no other local radio shows offering a cheap way for small business owners to advertise”, Roque added. Eddie Andino, Co-Founder of the Flipping Divas, stated “There’s literally hundreds of programs, grants and/or benefits the public do not know about, creating this show and platform is a brilliant and innovative way to educate the community.” A Community Leader, who prefers not to have his name mentioned because of reasons that may cause a conflict of interest, stated “We think it’s important for average people to educate themselves about one of the most basic necessities we all need to be a productive member of society, and that’s having a roof over our heads that we can be proud of. All we hear on the radio is a bunch crap about what celebrity is being  screwed, sued or tooled or things that don’t matter to the average person, I’d rather listen to station or program that’s designed to help and educate me rather than listening to a bunch of garbage”. More importantly, the Radio Shows success will be measured by how many people it can help rather than how many “top ten gossip list” it can establish. Ultimately, this platform will give the citizens of Brevard County a chance to revitalize, develop and/or redevelop our own community by investing in our community and community’s small businesses. We don’t have to wait for developers, investors or corporations to decide what, when and how to rebuild our community, number one they will not have our best interest in mind. If our citizens invest in our community’s properties and support our small businesses by shopping, purchasing, hiring and by using their services, we will assure a promising future for Brevard County and its citizens. And, surely it will benefit the people who invested in it and not some out of town, state or even country corporation. “The show will be dedicated to educating our citizens on not only how the corporate realty industry operates but also how many aspects of the realty industry correlate with our daily lives. The average person is unaware of how some of the policies we adopt or the lack of a functioning policy ever being adopted, is directly influenced by corporations pulling the strings in the background.” Shianti Stated. Like when Pepsi was bottling municipal tap water and selling it as fresh spring water. The lack of a functioning policy allowed a huge corporation like Pepsi, steal city water that tax payers paid for, bottle it and then sell it back to the citizens who already bought it. She added “Those are the kind of atrocities I want to prevent from ever happening here in Brevard, with this show. Had those people in that community known about the plans of the Pepsi Corporation, before they allowed them in their community for the sake of having local jobs available, I’m sure they wouldn’t have allowed it and would’ve done something about it. That’s why it’s important for us to start investing in us, I believe we can create jobs in Brevard without the help of any outside influences that don’t have our best interest in mind, especially knowing that they’re incapable of displaying any moral standards, moral backbone or empathy in the way the conduct business.” The comments have surely stirred up a buzz and anticipation for what’s to come on the Radio Show.
